Phenomenal performances by Nikoleta Perović, Danijela Džaković and Katarina Budrak brought victories to their teams, and excellent scoring performances were also achieved by Kristina Božović, Matea Kovačec and Mina Dragović – the latter two shared the title in the derby at the bottom of the Croatian championship.
The captain of the senior national team was once again the best on the court in the Roma jersey – this weekend the "wolves" defeated Padova 3:2 away from home, so they are fourth with a half-point score in 10 games of the second phase of the Italian Serie A2. Nikoleta Perović won 23 points, and this season she has a total of 382, so she is the second best scorer of the second-ranked competition in Italy, behind Monika Krasteva from Altamura who has 407.
Danijela Džaković again played an excellent role. Together with Ksenija Pavljenko, who also played up to 19, our volleyball player led Milia Aviasia to victory over the Absheron team in the Azerbaijan championship. Danijela and her teammates are in third place and occupy third place in the standings.
Simona Petranović is also in a winning rhythm – our national team player, with the Hapoel Kfar Saba team, defeated Maccabi Hadera 3:1 in the quarterfinals of the cup, then in the Israeli championship, in which Kfar Saba takes second place with a score of 12-3, behind undefeated Ashdod, which has a match less.
In the Portuguese championship, Porto did not play the match of the 18th round with Fiaes, so the second-placed team in the league, Sporting, came close to victory for Saška Đurović and her teammates. The team from Lisbon celebrated against the team of our young middle blocker Milena Ćetković, Kairos, 3:0. In that match, Ćetković won an excellent eight points. Kairos tied the second defeat, and is seventh with a score of 8-10.
Katarina Budrak had a perfect night in Bordeaux's 3:2 victory over San Diego. Our national team player scored 12 points and significantly contributed to Bordeaux's second consecutive victory, which awaits the final battle for a place in the playoffs in seventh place.
Nevena Vukčević and her Smuha Sporting team were defeated in two matches of the Egyptian championship during the week. First, by the team Delphi 3:2 – in that match, Vukčević won 10 points during the set and a half on the court, and then the team from Alexandria was defeated by Degla 3:1 with 14 points from the Montenegrin national team.
Kristina Božović also played two matches in the past seven days. The former best young volleyball player in Montenegro led Vampula to a 3-0 victory over Oriveden in the Finnish championship, scoring 11 points, and then was the top scorer in the match against Viesti - she counted to 20, but her team could not win, as the match ended in four sets. Vampula is 8-11 and occupies fourth place in the standings.
In the Croatian Super League, our volleyball team's derby in the fight for survival. Osijek and Matea Kovačec defeated Dubrovnik and Mina Dragović with a score of 3:2. Mina won the points duel of our volleyball team, who won 13 points, two more than Matea. Dubrovnik is second to last in the standings with three wins in 12 rounds, and Osijek celebrated for the fifth time in the season.
TENT continued to dominate the Serbian Super League – they recorded their 15th win in as many rounds, and Anastasija Bogojević's team was better than Spartak in Subotica 3:1. In the 15th round, Jedinstvo coached by Jovo Caković defeated Red Star 3:2, while Srem coached by our coach Marija Šušić lost to Ub 3:0. Šušić had two points.
In the Serbian First League, Vanja Matunović and Crno Bele lost to Inđija 3:2, while Kristina Vukčević and Staša Mitrović's Omladinac defeated Takovo 3:0.
Gazeli Volej and Teodora Rakočević opened the North Macedonian championship in a bad rhythm. After excellent games in 2025, another defeat followed – this weekend against Rabotnicki at home 3:0.
