The head coach of the Montenegrin women's volleyball team, Jovo Caković, announced the list of players for preparations ahead of the gathering in Bar on May 11, ahead of participation in the European League.
There are 22 players on the list:
TECHNICIANS: Marija Šušić (Srem, Serbia), Kristina Vukčević (Omladinac, Serbia), Viktoria Đukić and Nađa Peković (Budućnost);
SERVICE RECIPIENTS: Simona Petranović (Hapoel Kfar Saba, Israel), Teodora Čavić (Luka Bar), Lara Jovović and Darja Popović (Morača), Gordana Madžgalj (Herceg Novi) and Elena Jovanović (Budućnost);
CORRECTORS: Nikoleta Perović (Roma, Italy), Matea Kovačec (Osijek, Croatia), Anastasija Koprivica (Budućnost) and Đina Lekić (Budva).
MIDDLE BLOCKERS: Mina Dragović (Dubrovnik, Croatia), Saška Đurović (Porto, Portugal), Lana Rakočević (Budućnost), Anastasija Bogojević (TENT, Serbia) and Staša Mitrović (Omladinac, Serbia);
LIBERA: Melisa Cenović (Herceg Novi), Ksenija Krunić and Milica Veličković (Budućnost).
During the preparations, our A team will have control matches with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in Bar they will host the first tournament of the European League - on June 5 and 7, the "reds" will measure their strength with the selections of Slovenia and Georgia. Seven days later, they will play in Blaž, Romania, with Romania and the second-placed team of the preliminary tournament in Odense, in which Denmark, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Albania will play at the end of May. The third tournament in which Montenegro will participate is in Pristina, and their rivals on June 19 and 20 will be Kosovo and Hungary.
Coach Caković's coaching staff will include assistants Milan Milošević and Luka Bogojević, fitness coach Milan Čutović, statistician Ognjen Marković, and physiotherapist Mitar Andrović.
