The Montenegrin men's volleyball team gathered today and began preparations for participation in the European League in June.
At the beginning, 16 volleyball players trained, and the national team will be joined by serve receiver Ivan Zvicer after the completion of the final series of the Hungarian championship in which he and MAV Elore are fighting for the title with the Kaposvar team.
Our volleyball players will train in Podgorica until the start of the European League, whose first tournament will be held from June 5th to 7th in Vienna.
As part of their preparations, they will play test matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 22 and 23 at the "Verde" sports center and against North Macedonia on May 27 and 29.
The Reds' first rivals in the European League will be Austria and Finland in Vienna on June 6th and 7th, while in the second tournament in Porto, Ivica Jevtić's team will face Portugal and Latvia on June 12th and 13th, respectively.
Montenegro will play the third tournament in Bijelo Polje, where it will host the Swedish and Estonian national teams from June 19th to 21st.
