Balša Radulović is the new junior coach, Luka Bogojević leads the pioneers of Montenegro

The Board of Directors (BOD) of the Volleyball Association of Montenegro (OSCG) has made decisions on the appointment of new coaches for the men's junior and women's pioneer national teams. The decision of the BOD states that the juniors will be led by Balša Radulović, while the women's pioneer national team will be headed by Luka Bogojević. The meeting also adopted the propositions for the beach volleyball competition for 2026.

Balša Radulović will lead the Montenegrin juniors in the competition cycle for the generation of volleyball players born in 2008 and younger, culminating in their appearance at the U20 European Championship in 2027. Also, the 37-year-old from Podgorica will lead the U18 men's national team at the 2026 Balkan Championship, which will be held from June 25-29 in Podgorica.

Radulović has extensive experience working with younger teams. He was also the head coach of our U22 national team, with which he won a historic qualification to the 2022 European Championship in Poland, and as an assistant he worked in the coaching staffs of the senior teams that played at the 2019 and 2021 European Championships. From 2014 to 2019, he was also an assistant in the junior national team, with which he won the Balkan Championship in 2019.

At club level, he was an assistant coach in Saudi Arabia last season, where he won three trophies, two cups and a championship. From 2020 to 2021, he was the first coach of Etifa in Saudi Arabia, and from 2022 to 2025, he successfully led the Iranian Sepahan, with whom he won promotion to the higher tier of the competition.

In Montenegro, Radulović was the first coach of Buducnost from 2017 to 2020, where he worked with the juniors and as an assistant in the A team before taking over the first team. In 2020, Radulović was elected the best coach of Montenegro in the domestic championship in the men's team competition.

Luka Bogojević will be the selector of the women's pioneer volleyball team for the competitive cycle of volleyball players born in 2012 and younger in the qualifications for the 2027 European Championship and possibly at the tournament itself.

Bogojević is the coach of Buducnost's women's volleyball team, with whom he won the Montenegrin Cup this season, and led the Podgorica junior and cadet teams to national titles. He was named the best coach in Montenegro in the women's volleyball team competition in 2025. Two years earlier, he took over the first team of Buducnost, with whom he played in the semifinals of the EPCG Super League and Cup, last season in the championship final, and led the younger categories with great success. At the national level, the 33-year-old from Podgorica is a member of the coaching staff of the cadet and senior women's national teams.

When it comes to the Montenegrin Beach Volleyball Championship, the competition regulations were adopted at the Board of Directors meeting, and the tournaments will be held on July 4-5 and July 11-12.
