"A big victory for Montenegrin volleyball, hopefully just one in a row"

The Montenegrin women's volleyball team created a real sensation. Jovo Caković's team defeated Romania, the 11th team in the European rankings, 3:1 (25:21, 25:23, 22:25, 25:20).

Two wins in two matches - a perfect score for the Montenegrin team at the European League tournament in Blaž.

Now it's time to return to the base in Bar. After the match, coach Caković said he hopes this is just the beginning of a series of great victories for his team.

"Congratulations to the players, congratulations to my coaching staff, and congratulations to the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, because I believe this is a great victory for Montenegrin volleyball and I hope that it will be just one in a series of great victories in the coming period."

Our volleyball players acted like a real team on the court. "We played this match great, and most importantly, we acted like a real team. Every minute, from start to finish, we believed we could reach the goal. I think we need to forget this as soon as possible, rest as much as possible, return to Montenegro and prepare for the third weekend of the European League," concluded Jovo Caković.

Dijana Vuković also shared her impressions after the big victory.

"I congratulate the team on a great victory, against Romania, who were the favorites and are 11th in the CEV rankings. I hope that we will continue to train well and that we will show the same quality as in this match in the next tournament that awaits us next week."

The next stop for our volleyball team is Pristina. In the capital of Kosovo, they will face the third and final European League tournament, where they will face the home team on June 19th, and then Hungary the day after.
