Jadran Carina water polo players ended the season with a convincing defeat.
Primorje was better than Novljan - the Croatian vice-champion won in Rijeka with a score of 13:7 and thus inflicted Jadran's seventh defeat in the Champions League this season.
This game, by the way, did not have a significant result, and it seems that the hosts were more motivated for the last duel of the season, who made it clear from the start that they were only interested in winning.
In the middle of the second quarter it was 6:1 for Primorje, Jadran came close to minus three twice in the third period (7:4 and 8:5), but it was far from a chance to threaten the team represented by our representative Antonio Petrović.
At the beginning of the last quarter, Primorje took the biggest advantage (12:5 with a goal by Anđel Šetka), but the defeat of the Montenegrin champions was mitigated by Vladan Spaić.
Jadran thus finished the Champions League with three points (three draws).
