Jadran also celebrated in Budva: More victories to the title

Jadran Carina water polo players came one step away from defending their title after defeating Budva in the second game of the final playoff series.

Now in Budva it was 10:6 for Vladimir Gojković's team, who will look for a triumph at their pool on May 3 that will guarantee them a trophy and a new double crown in Montenegrin water polo.

Budva led 1:0, but Novljan made the difference with a 5:0 series and practically solved the question of the winner.

The home team later reached minus two on two occasions (5:3 and 6:4), but the current champion restored peace with two quick goals and brought the game to an end without any problems.

The most effective player in the winning team was Aleksa Ukropina with three goals, Miroslav Ranđić and Stefan Vidović scored two goals each, and Đuro Radović, Vlado Popadić and Stefan Pješivac scored one each.

Blažo Mitrović was the double scorer for Budva, while Savo, Petar Ćetković and Bogdan Đurđić each beat goalkeeper Slaven Kandić.
