Jadran lost against Primorje in the final

Jadran Carine is not in the Champions League by chance, they confirmed it with an excellent game against the current vice-champion Primorje, but in the end they had to congratulate the better and more experienced team - Rijeka won in Igalo with a score of 11:9.

In a phenomenal match on the return of Novljan to the European elite, our champion almost stopped the Croatian, but Miho Bošković and Nikola Dedović prevented the surprise with goals in the last two minutes.

Jadran, it's true, never led in this match, but they knew how to get back into the match even after minus three...

It was 7:4 for the visitors in the third minute of the third quarter, it was a rush by Primorje, and it turned out that it was only an introduction to the furious game of the hosts at the end of that section.

Jadran reduced the score to 7:6, then to 8:7, and Stefan Vidović equalized two minutes and 39 seconds before the end (9:9) after tonight's excellent Slaven Kandić saved Bošković's five-pointer.

The experienced Croatian ace restored the advantage to Primorje a minute and a half later, and in the next attack, when the Novljans had already started a counterattack, Dedović set the final score.

Vlado Popadić and Nikola Janović each scored two goals for the team from Škver, and the best individual of the guests was Bošković - the match ended with four goals.
