The Kotor players enter the derby after losing to Mladost in Zagreb, while Budva achieved their first triumph in the Adriatic League against Šibenik on Wednesday.
"We lost against Mladost, but I believe that our form is on the rise and that we have something to hope for against Budva. I would leave the role of favorite to the opponent, because they really have an excellent team, and we see a chance in the fact that our rival has not yet played. I believe that the match will be very uncertain, but we have something to hope for if we play at a high level - said the player from Primorje Marko Gopčević and emphasized the quality of his team:
"We also changed, there are Damjan Danilović, Đorđe Tešanović... I would also like to underline the performance of Nikola Murišić, who really plays excellently," added Gopčević.
On the other hand, in Šibenik, Budva ended a streak of seven defeats in the Adriatic League and Champions League qualifiers.
"Victory certainly boosts self-confidence. Honestly, I was a little afraid of the duel with Šibenik because of fatigue, but the boys really worked hard for that match. It is always difficult against Primorje, it will be a tough game and the nuances will decide. I also expect a hot atmosphere in the stands, but my players they shouldn't pay attention to that, but focus on the game. The favorite? It's hard to say who has the advantage at the moment, because both teams are young, changed their squad during the summer and are not in the right shape yet. Anyway, it will be interesting," said Budva coach Drago Pejaković.
He added that there will be no injured Damir Crepulja in the team, and that Marko Konatar and Milorad Radunović are question marks.
Jadran against Šibenik
