The head coach of the water polo national team, Ranko Perović, broke the news - Dragan Drašković and Uroš Čučković will not travel to Barcelona.
As is known, Perović had to shorten the list by two names and he did it on the last day of his stay in Budapest at the "Vodafone Cup".
That's how Budva and Partizan have too many players for the World Cup.
"That is my decision. If there is no injury by the end of the preparations, the list of 13 players is final," Perović told "Vijesti".
Drašković and Čučković were not in the team in this morning's match against Germany in Budapest.
Therefore, a team of 13 names is traveling to Barcelona that faced the "panzers" this morning: Miloš Šćepanović, Zdravko Radić, Draško and Darko Brguljan, Vjekoslav Pasković, Antonio Petrović, Igo Kruzija, Mlađan and Nikola Janović, Aleksandar Ivović, Saša Mišić, Filip Klikovac and Predrag Jokić.
Perovic is generally satisfied with what he saw in all three games.
"We were good in defense even with one less player and in the opponent's positional attack. There is still room for improvement in the attack, but the legs are also heavy from training, it is difficult to swim. We still have seven days to rest and fix some things in the game. I am satisfied, first of all, with the approach," said Perović.
