Budva M:tel did what it had to do - it beat Primorac in the first round of the Super League and kept its chances of eventually winning the Montenegrin championship.
Budva won 9:7, and the match was decided in the first quarter, which the chosen ones decided in their favor with a score of 5:0... All that the decimated Primorac did until the end was to soften the score, and in the second part the scoreboard read 7:4 for the host.
The Kotorans had their last push at the end of the third quarter (9:7), but the last part of the game ended without a single goal!
After the match, the home team was not satisfied with the refereeing, first of all, because of the ratio of exclusions - Budva had only five, and Primorac 14 attacks with more players.
- We opened the game excellently and achieved a 5:0 advantage. Then there was relaxation, there were mistakes, and we were not equal when it came to suspensions - said Budva's assistant coach Aleksandar Aleksić.
