After a mini-series of guest appearances in the Champions League, in Piraeus and Berlin, the Jadran Carina water polo players return to their home pool - they will meet Barceloneta in the 5th round of Group A (19 p.m.).
And that is another serious opponent, against whom the people of Novalja must overcome their own abilities in order to win. But, the last two matches in the Champions League hint at better editions, because Jadran squandered the chance to win both against Olympiakos and Spandau.

In the first two games in Igalo, Jadran easily lost to Jug and Solnok.
- In my opinion, Barceloneta is among the three best teams in Europe. It is certain that it will be very difficult and we have to give our maximum - said center Vladan Spaić.
Barceloneta is the Spanish national team in miniature - the leaders are goalkeeper Daniel Lopes Pinedo, Alberto Munaris, Felipe Perone, Blai Maljarac, and young center Rođer Taulj. Serbian national team player Milan Aleksić and naturalized Italian Michel Bodega provide more quality...
In the first four rounds, they won three times, scoring an average of 14,5 goals per game, and their only defeat came against Jug in Dubrovnik.
