Dragan Drašković admitted that few people expected that the water polo team of Montenegro would play such a good game against Italy in the quarter-finals of the European Championship.
"Sharks" won 10:8 against the current world champion.
"We did more than everyone, including us, expected. We didn't expect to play like this against the world champion. We were calm, we used their mistakes, and our confidence grew minute by minute. This is a great victory ", said Dragan Drašković.
By placing among the four best selections in Europe, just half a year after the disappointment at the World Cup and winning the tenth place, Montenegro made an unexpected result.
