Gojković: It was easier than I expected, I hope that we will be complete against Greece

For the second time at the final tournament of the World League, water polo players from Montenegro won by a double-digit margin.

The duel with Kazakhstan was just a warm-up for the showdown with Greece in the semi-finals.

- The most important thing is that we opened the game well, that we had no problems with the result. We were able to save players because of the small rotation. It was definitely easier than I expected - admitted Vladimir Gojković after the 18:6 victory.

Tomorrow's duel with Greece will be the fourth this year, and those confrontations are always exciting.

- The big derby. We have already played three times this season with them, we have a defeat in Debrecen and two victories in Rotterdam. We know each other well, I think it will be uncertain. They also played a good game, and I hope that we will be as complete as possible so that we can play what we want - Gojković alluded to the fact that he had problems with the composition of the team due to a stomach virus.

Slaven Kandić got a chance between the posts and saved seven shots during the half.

- The most important thing is to win and to turn to the match with Greece. I hope that the players who had the virus will recover and that we will be ready. We did the group and the quarterfinals in the best possible way, the most important thing remains for us. I hope that in the semi-final against Greece we will play our best game and qualify for the final - said the "Shark" goalkeeper.

The goal of the Montenegrin water polo players in Tbilisi is to repeat the success from Podgorica in 2009 and win the World League.

- We won and lost games with Greece, I hope we will triumph tomorrow. We want to fight for 1st place, it's always nice when something is won - Kandic is clear.
