Water polo representative of Montenegro, Uroš Čučković, is participating in the Olympic Games for the second time.
Čučković comes to Tokyo more experienced, ready for a big fight until the very end.
"These are my second Olympic Games. It's been five years since the last Games - I think I'm more mature and ready for these duels, which are waiting for me. At the first Olympics I was inexperienced, eager to prove myself, maybe I didn't experience the atmosphere in the right way. This time I enjoy every moment," Čučković said.
The "Sharks" open the tournament on July 25 against Australia.
"I think the team is ready - both physically and mentally. I think we are at the right level. Every game has something for itself. The first rival is Australia - we had a lot of problems with them in the past. They are an experienced team, with a lot of good individuals, who play fast, physically very strong water polo. It will not be easy in that duel, but we are here to advance. The match with them and Kazakhstan will determine whether we go further," Čučković added.
Spain, Serbia and Croatia are also in the group.
"Spain, Croatia and Serbia said everything with their results. We have shown in the past that we can play with them, so I hope that in those games we will be close until the very end, and then at the end I hope for some victory." Čučković concluded.
