Water polo players got a partner on the way to the main goal - the Games in Paris in 2024

The company M:tel is a new sponsor of the Water Polo Swimming Association of Montenegro (VPSCG).

The sponsorship contract was signed by the president of that sports association, Đuro Marić, and the executive director of the M:tel company, Tatjana Mandić.

Cooperation was agreed for one year.

Marić, after signing the contract, said that M:tel, as a socially responsible company, showed its willingness to renew its friendship with VPSCG and thus support the most trophy-winning Montenegrin sport.

"With numerous preparations, tournaments and other obligations, we have a demanding year ahead of us. A year in which we will do our best to continue the continuity of winning medals, and slowly build a team for the main thing, which is the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024." Maric said.

He emphasized that the support of the company M:tel comes at the right time for the Alliance.

"They showed their willingness to support us, even though they are aware of the fact that we are not a profitable sport, but we are the sport that brought the most joy to Montenegro," said Marić.

He reminded that VPSCG and M:tel had cooperation before, and now it has been raised to an even higher level, with the wish to have it until Paris and the Olympic Games.

"I am proud and satisfied that such a strong company is with our most successful sport. I hope that this cooperation will result in even better results for the Water Polo Federation", concluded Marić.

The executive director of M:tel Tatjana Mandić pointed out that the best go with the best, that's why those from the company headed by her are among the best in Montenegrin sports.

"The water polo team of Montenegro is one of the most trophy-winning teams and they have brought joy to all citizens many times. With the signing of the sponsorship contract from today, they officially have a friend in M:tel," said Mandić,

She said that M:tel is here to support them in future competitions, stating that the water polo players will be happy again with one of the medals.

"Our friendship with VPSCG started back in 2007, and since then we have been achieving success together. I know that many obligations await both the water polo players and our swimming teams. We wish everyone much success, and I especially emphasize that we believe in our sharks who, as we have heard, assembled a great rejuvenated team ready for new victories," said Mandić.

The selector of the water polo national team, Vladimir Gojković, thanked the M:tel company for its sponsorship, with the wish to continue the cooperation in the coming years.

"A year full of challenges for our sport is ahead of us. For the first time in one year, we will have both the World and European Championships for water polo players, namely in May in Fukuoka, and at the end of August in Split. We have started preparations for the new season in a big way, because in addition to these two competitions, we will also participate in the World League, and most likely in the Mediterranean Games and the World Cup," said Gojković.

According to him, the younger selections will participate in three major competitions.

"The swimming teams have already started competing in the new season. They are currently participating in the European Championship in small pools, in December they will participate in the World Championship in Abu Dhabi. It is a very demanding season, and M:tel's support means a lot to us," he said. Gojković.
