Montenegro will host the final tournament of European qualifications for the World League, it was officially announced by the Water Polo and Swimming Association of Montenegro.
The final tournament in Podgorica will be held from April 28 to 30, and the eight best European teams will participate, and the quarter-final pairs are Montenegro - France, Croatia - Italy, Hungary - Spain and Serbia - Greece.
The three best selections from the tournament in Podgorica will advance to the Super Final of the World League at the end of July in France.
"Great recognition for our Association from FINA (World Federation of Swimming Sports) because it is one of the most prestigious senior competitions, and the strongest selections of this sport will compete at the "Morača" swimming pool. We will do everything for water polo fans to enjoy those days in Podgorica, and to show, for the umpteenth time, that we are excellent hosts. This is just the beginning of the organization of major competitions in Montenegro", said the president of VPSCG Đuro Marić.
Montenegro is defending the title in the World League.
