It was more uncertain and exciting than in previous years, but nothing has changed in the fight for the title of champion of Montenegro in water polo.
Jadran continued its dominance, for the eighth year in a row the crown goes to Herceg Novi after Petar Radanović's team celebrated tonight in Kotor against Primorac (9:8).
It was Jadran's third triumph in the fourth match of the final, the first away, which ended the series.
The champion dominated the "Zoran Dziki Gopčević" pool from the start, leading 3:0, then 4:0 at the start of the second quarter, and Primorac scored the first goal only after 14 minutes of the game when he reduced it to 4:1 through Dusan Matković.
After that, the visitors had plus four on two more occasions (6:2 and 7:3), there was little hint of drama, but it could not be done without it.
Primorac tied the score at 67:8 with a big run 8 seconds before the end through Aljoša Mačić, but Jadran's reaction was lightning quick - Jovan Vujović's goal 44 seconds before the end brought him the title.
Vujović is one of the eight scorers of Jadran (he scored twice), Primorac had four.
Marko Mršić (three goals), Vuk Drašković, Mačić (two each) and Matković hit the net.
