For Montenegrin water polo players, the tournament in Dusseldorf is the last test before the European Championship (EP) in Split, said coach Vladimir Gojković.
On the eve of the trip to Dusseldorf, where they will play against Germany and Spain on Friday and Saturday, he said that these are the games that the Montenegrin national team needs to prepare for the start of the championship.
"The tournament is the last test before the EP in Split. After it, we will have only a few more days of preparation in Trebinje. A good test, after which we will have a clearer picture of our possibilities. I believe we will be ready for the EP," said Gojković.
Head coach Vladimir Gojković took 17 players to Dusseldorf.
The list includes: Marko Petković, Dejan Lazović, Lazar Andrić, Stefan Vidović, Vlado Popadić, Bogdan Đurđić, Vladan Spaić, Kanstantsin Averka, Aleksa Ukropina, Miroslav Perković, Dušan Matković, Dušan Banićević, Petar Tešanović, Luka Murišić, Vasilije Radović, Marko Mršić and Jovan Vujović.
In the professional staff, in addition to coach Gojković, assistants Miodrag Matković, Miloš Šćepanović, physiotherapist Ivan Borović and psychologist Nikola Mijušković.
Montenegrin water polo players will play Germany at the start of the tournament, tomorrow at 19:XNUMX, and the next day, at the same time, they will face Spain.
