Tomorrow (15), the water polo national team of Montenegro will play the quarter-final match of the European Championship in Split against Hungary.
"Sharks" defeated Romania (13:8) in the round of XNUMX yesterday and scheduled a duel with the team that won first place in the group and directly qualified for the top eight.
The Hungarians came to Split in a changed composition compared to the one that played in Budapest at the World Championship, but it is still a very good team.
"A big challenge. We are playing against a great opponent and there will be no lack of motivation. Hungary came in a changed composition compared to the World Cup, but it is a quality team in terms of shooting. We analyzed them as much as possible, they did not play many games in this composition. They played a good match against Serbia. I believe that we know what we need to do and that we have a real chance to win, if we are close to what we can provide," said "Sharks" coach Vladimir Gojković in the announcement of the match.
And Marko Petković believes that the attack is the strongest weapon of the Hungarians.
"The Hungarian team is playing in a much changed lineup, without a few old aces. They are exceptional strikers and that's where they are most dangerous, although they have a completely different tactic with a new coach and coaching staff. We have made some analyses, we will prepare as much as possible. There is no recipe, except let's enter maximally motivated, with more desire than the Hungarians," said Petković.
