The legendary Montenegrin water polo player Mirko Vičević officially became part of the Water Sports Hall of Fame.
He was presented with the award at a ceremony in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Vičević was the Olympic champion with Yugoslavia in Seoul in 1988, he also has two world championship titles in 1986 and 1991.
In his coaching career, among other things, he was the European champion with the junior Montenegrin national team in Malta in 2015.
He is the creator of the Kataro Water Polo Academy, and at the beginning of this year he also briefly sat on the bench of Crvena zvezda.
The episode in Belgrade was short-lived, after the most ardent supporters of the "red and white" insulted him on a national basis.
