The beginning of the final series does not promise excitement, the Jadran water polo players easily defeated Primorac and took the first step towards defending the title of champion of Montenegro.
In the open pool at Škver, it was 11:5 for the host in a duel that justified the derby epithet only in the first quarter.
Jadran led 1:0, Primorac reversed to 2:1, and then was scoreless for almost 20 minutes, so at the end of the third period Petar Radanović's team led 6:2.
In the last eight minutes, when the winner was already known, the Kotorans finally found some rhythm in the attack, but Jadran's goalkeeper Darko Đurović also made several excellent interventions.

"Even though the score is 11:5 and one would say it was quite easy, there were moments when Primorac could have gotten closer. I think we are physically more prepared and that was the deciding factor," said Radanović.
Primorac must do better.
"We got into the match well, and the second quarter directed the game. Then we had some chances that we didn't realize and we couldn't get the rhythm right. We played badly, I hope it will be a different game in Kotor. I think we can do better," he pointed out. Primorje coach Ranko Perović.
Đuro Radović led Jadran with three goals, Pavel Halturin and Danilo Radović scored two each, and Danilo Stupar, Uroš Vučurović and Matija Sladović scored one each.
In Primorac, two goals by Marko Mršić, one each by Bojan Paunović, Srđan Janović and Balša Vučković.
The final series is played on three triumphs, the next game is on May 1 in Kotor.
