The U20 water polo team of Montenegro will play for seventh place at the World Championship.
The young team, which was defeated by the United States of America yesterday in the quarter-finals, lost to Italy 13:12 in the play-off for placement from 5th to 8th position.
The last rival on Petr Radanović's World Cup team will be Croatia (Saturday at 14 p.m.).
In today's duel, the Italians led 5:1, Montenegro overturned to 6:5 (it was also 7:6), and won the top five with a goal by Lazar Vukićević two seconds before the end.
Jovan Vujović missed the only penalty in the first series.
