Halfway to the end of the season, Primorac was left without a coach - Zoran Maslovar is no longer the head of the Kotor water polo giants.
As Primorac announced on social networks, Maslovar resigned for personal reasons, but he will not leave the club.
"Maslovar remains in Primorac as coordinator of the younger categories - we thank him for his work so far in the first team," the Kotor club announced.
Maslovar arrived on the bench of Primorje at the beginning of the season instead of Ranko Perović, the plan was to stay there until the return of Petar Porobić, with whom he would later collaborate in the coaching staff.
Unfortunately, due to the sudden death of our legendary coach, that did not happen, and Maslovar continued to lead the team independently until the end of the first part of the season.
Maslovar is a proven name in water polo, his work in Primorac started off great, but everything was ruined in December when his boys were first easily defeated by Jadran in the final of the Montenegrin Cup, and then in front of their fans in the decisive match to advance to the knockout phase of the Eurocup by Ortiđa .
Primorac is now looking for a new coach, and in a way, a good thing for the management of the Kotor club is that it has enough time to make a good decision, since the club's water polo - due to the European (January 4 - 16) and World Championships (February 5 - 17) - will not play until the end of February.
