Serbia once again showed that it is a class above all in the second division of the European Championship - the country's water polo players easily defeated Germany (14:6) and registered their second triumph in Group C, which is being played in Zagreb.
"Dolphins" were led by Marko Radulović with four goals and Dušan Mandić with three - Primorje center Nemanja Vico and Nikola Jakšić added two each, and Strahinja Rašović, Nemanja Ubović and Sava Ranđelović one goal each.
For the Germans, Fin Suca, Denis Štreleckij and Niklas Šiper each scored two goals.
Earlier today in that group, Malta beat Israel with 13:11.
Serbia is first in the table with six points, and Germany is second with three - Malta is in third place with three, while Israel is last with no points.
If Uroša Stevanović's team confirms the role of favorites against Malta in the last round of the playoffs, they will play against the fourth-placed team from the group in which Montenegro is located.
Group D was played today in Dubrovnik - Romania was better than Slovenia (13:5), led by Montenegrin expert Mirko Vičević from the bench, while the Netherlands easily beat Slovakia (17:6).
Romania is first with six points, followed by the Netherlands and Slovakia with three each, while Slovenia has no points.
