The water polo national team of Montenegro had enough motivation against Romania, so they did not allow their rival to create problems except for the first three minutes - they scored 18 goals (18:11) and will play for fifth place at the European Championship.
"Sharks" coach Vladimir Gojković was satisfied with the team's reaction after the heavy defeat against Italy in the quarterfinals when it was 14:8 for "Setebelo".
"I congratulate the players - they managed to come back after Italy and prepare for this game. After a bad start, we played with maximum commitment and I think the victory was fully deserved," said Gojković.
On Tuesday from 18.30 the opponent is Greece.

"We have a match against another top national team," said Gojković.
Jovan Vujović replaced Vladan Spaić in the center position.
"We justified the role of favorites, even though we started the match weaker. Then we imposed the rhythm and the game we want and brought the game to an easy end," said the Jadran water polo player.
