The water polo team of Montenegro failed today and lost to Serbia in the second round of the World Championship - 14:6.
From the beginning, the "sharks" were not up to par, and the big problem was the attack with a bigger player.
"We weren't in the game from the very beginning. We conceded some goals easily. Bad execution by more players. We had some setbacks in the second quarter, let's try to reduce it. Serbia deservedly won, I congratulate them. In the end, we didn't manage to alleviate the defeat. No a lot of time for analysis, but let's turn to the last match in the group," said coach Vladimir Gojković after the match.
Montenegro will play against Japan on Friday at seven o'clock. The "Sharks" need a win to secure a place in the round of 16.
In the event that Montenegro defeats the Japanese, and Serbia is better than the USA, then Vladimir Gojković's team would go from second position to the round of 16.
