Brguljan: We deserve to go to Paris, against Spain is a real test to see what our future holds

Drasko Brguljan played a very important role in defense against Romania.

"This is an excellent result. We struggled at the beginning, we had problems, but we are pushing - we reached the quarter-finals, secured a place at the Olympic Games for the fifth time. The most important thing is that we go to Paris, we deserve to be there".

Romania made our selection difficult.

"It was very difficult. Romania is not a bad team, the results of recent years show that. It has an excellent, young team, is led by a good coach and plays really good water polo," pointed out Brguljan.

Next up is the quarter-final and the match with Spain.

"It's a match to enjoy and a good test to see if this team can win a medal in the future or not. Spain is, along with Hungary, the best team in the world, they recently won the European Championship... There is nothing to talk about about the Spaniards, it's a top selection and we have a duel ahead of us, which is a good opportunity to make a step forward and to "break up", so let's see what it will be enough for," concluded Brguljan.
