The water polo national team of Montenegro will participate in the World Championship for players up to 18 years of age, which will be played from July 2 to 8 in Buenos Aires.
Coach Miodrag Mirović is counting on 15 water polo players in Argentina.
The honor of Montenegrin water polo will be defended by Marko Pejović, Miloš Vukašinović, Tim Perov, Tadija Matijašević, Đorđe Pejović, Nikola Petrović, Andrija Roganović, Miljan Bošković, Srđan Janović, Strahinja Gojković, Ivan Marković, Danilo Stupar, Draško Samardžić, Ognjen Moračanin and Miloš Milinić.
In the professional staff, in addition to coach Mirović, there are also assistant coaches Filip Andrić and Nikola Mijanović, as well as doctor Rade Šćekić.
Montenegrin water polo players will play in a group with the United States, Serbia and Hungary.
The first rival is the USA selection on July 2, a day later they will meet with Hungary, and finally with Serbia.
Group B includes Greece, Italy, Spain and Croatia.
Group C consists of China, Canada and Iran, group D Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, group E includes Japan, New Zealand and Colombia, and group F Australia, South Africa and Kazakhstan.
The two best teams from groups A and B will each qualify for the quarterfinals.
The third-placed and fourth-placed teams from groups A and B will play in the round of 16 with the winners of groups C, D, E and F.
