The great return of the giants from the bay - the water polo players of Jadran m:tel completed the qualifications without a mistake and joined their neighbors and great rival Primorac in the Champions League.
Montenegrin club water polo has survived many difficult moments during the last decade, even today everything is far from ideal, but after more than ten years our country will once again have two representatives in the European elite.
As the champion of Montenegro, Primorac directly finished in the group stage of the Champions League, and Jadran put an end to a perfect qualifying tournament in Dubrovnik with a victory over Barcelona (14:10).
Vladimir Gojković's men thus completed group C of the Champions League in which they will play against Barceloneta, Marseille and Vaša, while Primorje's rivals in group D will be Olympiakos, Savona and most likely Sabadell as the winner of one of the qualifying groups.
Already in the second round of qualifications in Dubrovnik, when Jadran knocked down the host Jug, it was clear that no one would stop Novlja on their way to the elite...
