The Jadran m:tel water polo players impressively completed the qualifications for the European elite and thus took Montenegro to the privileged countries that will have more than one representative in the Champions League - along with Novlja, there is also Primorac as the champion of our country.
In the past, the great rivals from the Gulf fought for the final four of the strongest water polo competition on the Old Continent, so that Montenegro would wait for two representatives in the Champions League for more than a decade - more precisely, since the 2011/12 season.
- This is a great success for Montenegrin water polo in general, because I think that for over ten years we haven't had two representatives in the Champions League. All water polo fans in Montenegro can be happy with the results of Primorje and Jadran - he said after the qualifying tournament in Dubrovnik Aleksandar Ivović, a big boost for Novljan this season.

- When we arrived in Dubrovnik, I don't believe that anyone saw us as favorites, especially because it is known that Jug is a completely different team at the pool in Gruž. What we showed in that game can make us happy, and we should build on that what awaits us in the rest of the season - stressed Ivović.
Finally, a little about the individual performance in the tournament... He scored the most goals for Jadran Dmitrij Holod - the Russian water polo player shook the nets of his rivals 11 times, with Gojković saving him in the first match with Banja Luka. In terms of goals, he was the closest to him Danilo Radovic with nine hits.
