There is no peace in Montenegrin water polo - that tradition has not been broken even today when the president and vice president of the assembly of water polo and the swimming association were elected.
Trust was given to Dejan Rađenović and Rajko Ćupić, but there was a reaction from Primorje - in the reaction signed by the president Siniša Kovačević, it is stated that the Kotor club was not informed about the name of the candidate for the president of the assembly.
The representatives of Primorje and Qatar were not present at the session today.

"First of all, I would like to refer to the very scheduling of the extraordinary assembly of the VPSCG, which is not in accordance with the Statute, for the reason that Mr. Đuro Marić resigned from the position of President of the Board of Directors on September 9, and the Statute says that after the resignation of the current president, the assembly must be convened in within a month".
"That assembly was scheduled for October 14, despite the insistence of VPK Primorac that it be at the end of September. The director of VPSCG justified it by telling us, I quote: "All employees are on collective vacation because they had a busy season and did not have time to rest". That is strange to say the least because the regional Premier League started already in September, and it is known that there is a need for the activity of the Association".
Regardless of all the above, the assembly was held today. I must say that these were agreements that Primorac was not aware of, i.e. it is obvious that some people thought that they should not introduce us to the name of the candidate for the president of the assembly. We found out from the media that it was Mr. Rađenović from Budva, against whom we have nothing, however, according to the previous agreements, we had to be referred," Kotorani state.
People from Primorje remember that not so long ago they proposed a candidate for the president of the Association - the legend Veljko Uskoković.
"I would like to remind you that the VPK Primorac publicly highlighted the candidacy of Mr. Veljko Uskoković for the president of the VPSCG, and if we go back to May 2021 after the election of Mr. Marić, we also have his statement in which he expressed particular satisfaction that he received the support of the VPK Primorac and that ready after the mandate or part of his mandate, to support the candidate from Kotor. I hope that the gentlemen from PVK Jadran will fulfill that promise and support our candidate for the president of the Association, which I also learned from the media that is scheduled for November 1 is a bad policy of the previous continuity of the VPSCG, which will not bring anything good to our most trophy sport, because VPK Primorac will not participate in the further work of the Association in this way".
Adding:
"There continues to be a very bad attitude towards the oldest club in our country, the national champion, a participant in the Champions League. It is clear that there was an agreement between a couple of clubs regarding the candidates, and at the session no one asked where the representatives of Primorje were, because they obviously did not need us. Agreement was made by us with the clear intention of ostracizing Primorje, which is very bad for the functioning of VPSCG. However, I believe that at some point they will have to sit down, and all in favor of Montenegrin water polo, to make an agreement first between the two biggest clubs that are the backbone of the Montenegrin water polo team Gore - Primorje and Jadran, and then all the others, because this, I note once again, is not a good path and the continuity of bad relations that prevailed in the previous term continues".
The announcement concludes:
"I expect that in the coming period we will receive some explanation from the gentlemen who agreed on this scenario without VPK Primorac and about everything that was done like this, that Budva would give the president of the assembly, so that maybe some others could again run for "their" president of the Association. We can talk about everything, but not in this way," Kovačević said in a statement.
