Nikola Milić is the most serious candidate and has a great chance of becoming the president of the Water Polo-Swimming Association of Montenegro, "Vijesti" has learned.
Milić officially submitted his candidacy for the position of the first man of Montenegrin water sports, with the support of six of the nine active clubs - Jadran, Budva, Budućnosti, Akvatik Verde, Mladosta and Butterfly.
Milić (40) was a junior water polo player in Primorje, where he played from the age of eight to 19, before moving to Herceg Novi for his business career after completing his studies in economics.
He has been in the hotel (tourist) business since 2009, and in recent years he has been a member of Jadran's board.
Earlier, the leaders of Primorje announced that they will propose Veljko Uskoković, a famous water polo player, for the position of president of VPSCG.
Officially, the names of the candidates should be known tomorrow, and the Electoral Assembly of the VPSCG is scheduled for November 1.
