Budućnost water polo players defeated Budva 13:7 (4:1, 4:0, 1:2, 4:4) in the first match of the preliminary round of the Cup of Montenegro.
After two quarters, the team from Podgorica practically solved the problem of winning, as it led by as much as 8:1.
Buducnost was led by Marko Bošković with five goals and Mlađan Janović with four goals, two by David Stevović and one each by Neđo Baštrica and Matija Brguljan.

In the second match of the preliminary phase, Kataro will host Budva on November 13, and three days later Budućnost will host Kataro.
After three rounds, the two best teams will advance to the final tournament, where Jadran and Primorac await them.
The final tournament will be played on November 29 and 30 in Nikšić.
