The water polo players of Jadran Mtela and Primorca qualified for the finals of the Cup of Montenegro as expected.
In the first match of the final tournament in Nikšić, Vladimir Gojković's team justified their role as favorites against Budućnost (18:8) and took the first step towards defending the trophy.
As expected, there was no uncertainty, so Jadran led 6:2 after eight minutes, and 11:3 at halftime...
Danilo Radović scored four times in Jadran, Strahinja Gojković scored three goals, and Mlađan Janović was the triple scorer for Podgorica.
Primorac, on the other hand, was more convincing in the final result against Qatar (21:10), but had a lot of problems in the first half.
Namely, Kataro scored six goals in the first quarter (Primorac led 7:6), and from the middle of the second period, the much higher quality of Vjekoslav Pasković came to the fore.
Marko Mršić and Srđan Janović each scored five goals in the Primorje cap, Marko Milić scored one more in Qatar.
