The water polo players of Jadran Mtela and Primorca had no problems in the 10th round of the regional Premier League.
The Novljans continued their fight for a place in the final four, and they are at least one step closer after the routine victory over Primorje - it was 18:12 at Škver.
Jadran was in a very attacking mood in the first 16 minutes, in which they shook the Rijeka net 12 times (leading 12:4 at halftime), and in the rest, they slowed down, which gave the guests a chance to avoid a convincing defeat.
After the seventh triumph of the season, Vladimir Gojković's men are in fourth place - they have one more victory than Zagreb's Mladost.
Strahinja Gojković, Danilo Radović and Dmitrij Holod were triple scorers in Jadran, Jovan Vujović, Danilo Stupar and Đorđe Lazić each scored two goals, and Uroš Vučurović, Matija Sladović and Vasilije Radović scored one each.
And Primorac celebrated for the fourth time - in his pool he outplayed Valis from Valjevo - 18:9.
From the start, the Kotor players made it clear to the guests that they had nothing to look for in the "Zoran-Džimi Gopčević" pool, and at halftime they had a clear advantage - 8:3. Valis then reduced the lead to 8:5, after which the home team's lead only grew.
Nikola Brkić was the most effective with four goals. Luka Murišić and Dušan Matković each had three, and Nika Šušijašvili, Srđan Janović and Nemanja Vico each had two. Savo and Petar Ćetković also enrolled.
