The PVK Budućnost women's water polo team officially started work on Tuesday, the club announced.
The girls had their first training session at the SC “Morača” pool, and were welcomed by the coach of the men's senior team and coordinator of all water polo sections of Budućnost, Aleksandar Aleksić.
"After the men's senior team, which is already recording great results in its debut season, the younger water polo selections, and our swimmers who are recording top results from competition to competition, our club has made another big step forward by establishing a women's water polo team. I am sure that in the near future, Podgorica and Montenegro will be proud of our girls. There is a large base, there is great interest in women's water polo, and we will do our best to provide them with the best working conditions."
The team will be coached by Mihajlo Pajović and Danilo Petrušić, under the leadership of head water polo coach Aleksandar Aleksić.
It was announced that initially training sessions will take place three times a week: Tuesdays (17-18pm), Thursdays (17-18pm) and Saturdays (9-10am).
"Be a part of the history of PVK Budućnost, let's create a women's water polo team together," the club announced.
