Our junior water polo teams have learned their rivals in the group stage of the European Championships, which will be played this summer.
The U16 national team will be in Group B at the championship, hosted by Manisa, Turkey, from July 16th to 7th, with Greece, Italy and Croatia.
Group A includes Hungary, Serbia, Spain and Turkey. Group C includes: Malta, Netherlands, Georgia and Moldova, and Group D includes: Germany, Romania, Israel and Poland.
Our U18 national team will play in Group B at the European Championship in Oradea (Romania) from August 18th to 24th, which also includes Spain, Serbia and Croatia.
Group A includes Greece, Hungary, Italy and the Netherlands. Group C includes Turkey, France, Romania and Poland, while Group D includes Germany, Malta, Georgia and Ukraine.
The rules of the competition in the junior selections are such that the eight best national teams form groups A and B, and that all four teams advance to the elimination phase, and the placement in the group determines which selections from groups C and D they will face in the first knockout round.
