The Montenegrin water polo championship begins with a match between Qatar and Budva on Saturday at 19 pm. The league part of our championship is played on a round-robin basis at home and away between teams that have not met this season in the regional leagues (Premier League and A1).
The competition regulations stipulate that the results of our teams' matches in regional leagues will be counted towards the placement in the Montenegrin championship.
Based on the results so far in the season, the Buducnost water polo team has eight points from four matches. The other four clubs have played two matches each in regional competitions - Jadran M:tel has collected six, Kataro three, Budva one, while Primorac has no points...
After the end of the league stage, the first two teams will play a best-of-three final series, while the third- and fourth-place teams will play a best-of-two series in the fight for third place.
