Montenegro's water polo players will play for fifth place in the World Cup after defeating Germany on the second day of the Superfinal in Podgorica.

The painful defeat to Croatia, which celebrated with a goal by Loren Fatović three seconds before the end, had to be put behind us, and Dejan Savić's team showed seriousness, especially in the first half of the match against the Germans.

Germany found holes in the Montenegrin defense and found an attacking rhythm that was certainly not enough to threaten the favorites' advantage. But it is striking that Savić's team scored only six goals in the second half compared to 13 in the first.
