The vice-champion took the lead against the champion, and the first match announced a super interesting final series for the champion of Montenegro.
The Jadran M:tel water polo players defeated their biggest rival Primorac in a dramatic match and only after a penalty shootout (16:14) in front of their fans at Škver and are waiting for the next match, which will be played in Kotor, with a 1:0 lead.
In an interesting match, with twists and turns, beautiful goals and moves, all the home players were cool-headed in the penalty shootout, while Darko Đurović saved Niko Šušiašvili's shot, and Srđan Janović hit the crossbar.
The champion of our country will be the team that first reaches three triumphs.

The team from Novi Sad opened the match with two goals from captain Aleksandar Ivović, the team from Kotor responded through Šušiašvili and Dušan Matković, and after goals from Đorđe Lazić (who also earned three dismissals in those moments) and Dmitri Holod, Jadran had a plus two for the first time (4:2).
When Vasilije Radović scored midway through the second quarter for 6:3, it seemed that Vladimir Gojković's team was building an easy path to victory, but Vjekoslav Pasković's boys didn't think so - by the break it was already 6:6, heralding a great finish.
Srđan Janović turned the tables and took Primorac to 7:6, Danilo Stupar responded with two goals, and after that, although the team from Kotor did not give up, they no longer led.
Jadran had 11:9 and 12:10 after Ivović's goals from penalties won by Danilo Radović and Strahinja Gojković, but even that wasn't enough. Great goals by Dragan Drašković and Sava Ćetković brought another tie (12:12).
There were chances for both teams until the end, but somehow it was fairer for the first duel to be decided by penalty shootout.
Ivović, Danilo Radović, Holod and Gojković were there without a mistake, and the hero is certainly goalkeeper Đurović, who saved Shušiašvili's shot after Gruzin was safe from five meters twice during the game.
Jadran took the lead, but it will be interesting until the end.
