The water polo team opened the World Championships in Singapore with a big victory over Greece - they showed in 32 minutes of fierce fighting to preserve the advantage they had for most of the match.
In the end, it was 10:9 for Dejan Savić's team, who remained calm despite the feat against the Hellenes.
"It was uncertain and extremely difficult. We expected to have a large number of suspensions, because the Greeks have a center pair that is among the best in the world. We maintained and ultimately saved the result, that has not been our virtue so far," said Savić.
There are reasons for satisfaction...
"We can be satisfied with some things, but all this must be forgotten and we need to turn to Hratska," Savić pointed out.
The "Sharks" will play against the "Barracudas" on Monday in the 2nd round of Group D at 11.35:XNUMX a.m.
