Montenegro water polo team coach Dejan Savić had no reason to be satisfied after the last match in the group stage of the World Championship.
The "Sharks" defeated China 13:8, but they played below par - there was no aggression or excessive desire to show strength against an objectively much weaker opponent.
"Poor performance and approach in the match against China. We knew in advance that we would win, but the approach certainly shouldn't have been like this," said the Serbian coach.
It had to be better...
"We have entered the famous oscillations and a lot needs to be improved. We are waiting for the match between Greece and Croatia to know whether we are first, second or third. All possibilities exist, but in any case I think we are focused on the round of 16 where Brazil and Canada await us," Savić pointed out.
The round of 16 match is on Friday.
