The current president of the Primorac Water Polo Swimming Club will remain in that position for another four years - Siniša Kovačević received a new mandate by a unanimous decision of the Kotor club's Assembly.
As announced by Primorac, in addition to the president, members of the Board of Directors were also elected, namely Duško Blečić and former captain of the Montenegrin water polo team Draško Brguljan.
"During the previous presidential term of Siniša Kovačević, VPK Primorac achieved exceptional and lasting results of importance not only for the club, but also for Montenegrin sports as a whole," claim the Kotor club.
As the statement adds, after 15 years, the club has achieved full financial stability, creating a solid foundation for long-term and sustainable development.
"The publication of the club's Monograph preserves and presents with dignity the rich historical heritage of VPK Primorac, as a lasting testament to tradition and identity, while the return of the first team to the Champions League confirmed the club's return to the place it rightfully deserves in terms of tradition and quality - the very top of European water polo," Primorac said.
By winning the Montenegrin Cup and Championship, Primorac has once again confirmed its position on the national scene.
"After the threat of the collapse of the RVL regional competition, Primorac, with Siniša Kovačević at the helm, made a great contribution to the establishment of a joint competition with Serbia. This enabled our young players to continue their player maturation through quality and competitive competition. A special contribution to the overall success is reflected in the fact that the Club was declared the best club in the 'Olympic Hopes' regional competition for the third year in a row, which is a clear confirmation of systematic work, commitment to youth development and vision for the future."
They also add that with the full support of the club's owner, the Municipality of Kotor, namely the President of the Municipality, Vladimir Jokić, as well as the unanimous support of all members of the club's Assembly, Kovačević is beginning a new four-year term.
"With a clear commitment to continue on the path of stability, sporting achievements and further strengthening the reputation of VPK Primorac on the Montenegrin and international sports scene," concluded Primorac.
