The junior water polo national team of Montenegro (players born in 2000 and younger) at the European Championship, which will take place from September 10 to 17 in Malta, will play in group A with the selections of Croatia, Hungary and Ukraine, it was decided by draw in Budapest.
"Extremely difficult group. It is up to us to train well until the start of the championship, and if we make the desired progress during the summer, the result will come. Our goal at this championship is to place among the top eight,'' said coach Miodrag Mirović.
Spain, Italy, Romania and Germany will play in group B, Serbia, Malta, Georgia and France are in group C, while Greece, Russia, Slovakia and Turkey are in group D.
The first-placed teams from all four groups go directly to the quarterfinals, while the second-placed and third-placed teams play in the round of XNUMX.
