The Hungarian water polo team are the first finalists of the European Championship in Belgrade.
The giant defeated Greece 15:12 in the semifinals, the only team that has had all wins in the tournament so far, and thus received the chance to chase its 14th gold at the Old Continent championships on Sunday.
They will fight for the title with the winner of tonight's duel between Serbia and Italy (8:30 PM).
The Greeks opened the match better and had a two-goal lead twice in the first quarter, while Hungary took the lead for the first time at the beginning of the third period when Christian Manherc scored for 9:8.
Three minutes later it was 11:8, and Žolta Varga's team never let go of that advantage.
Manherz scored four times for the winning team, while Kostadinos Kakaris stood out for the Greeks with three goals.
