In the last round, Primorac water polo players took fourth place in the Premier Regional League standings and entered the qualifying zone for the final tournament.
The team from Kotor wants to stay in that zone, and for the goal to be more realistic, it is necessary for them to score six points in the next two games.
Next up is the match against Red Star Belgrade (Saturday at 4:30 PM), then on Monday in Kotor with Partizan (6 PM).
"Zvezda has changed the lineup a lot compared to the match we played in Belgrade, but our goal does not change - we want to win. This is the period of the season when the schedule is tight, so rest is equally important along with preparation. We want to reach the final tournament and if we want to do that, we have to win games like this," said guard Nikola Brkić, whose team is on a four-game winning streak in the regional competition.
Partizan must also be won.
"That match is two days later and we have to be ready," Brkić emphasized.
There is also a small Montenegrin derby on Monday - Jadran M:tel, after two convincing defeats (to Radnički and Novi Beograd), is visiting Budućnost One.
Radnički and Šabac share first place in the table with 22 points each, Novi Beograd has two fewer, while Primorac has 19 - three more than Jadran.
After this round, there are four more rounds left, as Radnički and Šabac are close to the final four, and Novi Beograd is also ahead of its Boka Kotor rivals, so the big derby between Primorac and Jadran - scheduled for March 11th - could be decisive in the fight for F4.
