The young water polo team of Montenegro finished its performance at the Balkan Games in Greece in fourth place.
Montenegrin water polo players were defeated today in the match for third place by the hosts with a score of 14:11.
They were denied a place in the finals yesterday after losing to Serbia 11:10 on penalties. The match ended in a 6:6 draw in regular time.
"Despite not winning any medals, the tournament was a valuable experience for the Montenegrin team and an important step in preparations for the next challenges. The team is returning to Montenegro, where it will continue its final preparations for the World Championships in Zagreb, which begin in early August," the Water Polo and Swimming Federation announced.
