Kotor nominated for the best European destination: Voting until February 5

In the competition conducted by Europian Best Destinations, the city of Kotor was nominated for the best European destination in 2019. Last year, it came in 12th place, winning more votes than cities such as Paris, Vienna and Amsterdam, and is the only Montenegrin city to make this list.

On this occasion, the guests of Boja jutra were the director of TO Kotor, Ana Nives Radović and the representative of Port of Kotor, Snežana Jonica.

Ana Nives Radović said that this is a confirmation that in 2018 they achieved those results that are relevant to the institutions that dealt with this.

"The results from 2018 recommend candidacy for this year, 2019, so last year we were also nominated and were among twenty destinations, placed twelfth on that list. Just being on such a list is quite interesting and useful, and we see that in communication with numerous international organizations, the media, and institutions in general, that they noticed this ranking, and what makes us especially happy is that all those who are outside of the European continent searching for which destination to go to, which city, which country to visit, actually go to this site. So, we have to say that this site has been the most visited European site for six years in a row. a site where Europe, in order to promote culture and tourism, advocates everything that should be visible," said Radović in "Colors of the Morning".
