"There is no technical government, nor will there be one. There will be, the government will be formed after the elections"
Despite this attitude of the prime minister and the deputy president of the DPS, the opposition members are explicit - a technical government is the only model for overcoming the political crisis caused by the latest Koverta and Atlas scandals.
"That technical government should, within a mandate period of one year or longer, organize general elections. We believe that that government should be made up of all opposition parliamentary subjects and representatives from the regime, as well as certain experts. At the head of that government, there would be no could be Duško Mraković, but it should preferably be a non-party figure, because Duško Marković also came through an envelope, which Migo Stijepović forwarded to DPS activists," says one of the DF leaders, Milan Knežević.
The SDP also believes that the technical government should last significantly longer than the so-called Electoral Trust Government, established a few months before the 2016 parliamentary elections.
As an advantage in relation to that government, they point out that the opposition is now united in this request, but also other circumstances.
"We have people on the streets, civil protests, a democratic public who are protesting and who are also looking for a technical government. That government is structured much differently, with many more representatives of the opposition both at the ministerial and other levels of administration. We also believe that in this technical government there should be the civil sector is represented. And of course, such solutions also include a part of the structure made up of the existing government because that model cannot be implemented otherwise," assesses Ivan Vujović from the SDP.
Democrats, at the moment, emphasize three things
"The model of the Government of Electoral Confidence from 2016 for Democratic Montenegro is not acceptable. Also, a technical government led by someone from DPS is not acceptable, and we will discuss other models of technical government when this Government falls," says Vladimir Martinović from Democratic Montenegro. Above.
The technical government, as a possible model for meeting the demands of citizens at protests, is also mentioned in the Resist movement - 97 thousand
And what if DPS persists in rejecting the opposition's proposal to form a technical government?
"There is a risk that more radical demands will be made, that it will be too late for a technical government. This is a serious proposal!" says the leader of Demos, Miodrag Lekić.
"In the beginning, they exclusively rejected the possibility of forming a technical government, but as far as I can see, these days they are sending signals that they are ready to discuss all topics in the direction of overcoming the political crisis," says Milan Knežević.
"Mr. Đukanović said at the end of 2015 that a transitional government would be absolutely unacceptable, he was even tougher, he said that it was a Montenegrin phenomenon, so only after a month he agreed to that Government. So much for their consistency," says Vujović.
The Front, SDP and Demos therefore think that the proposal for the formation of a technical government should be formalized soon, in cooperation with the organizers of civil protests.
